Behind every magical moment on stage is a team of legends who build it all from the ground up—and we’d love you to be one of them.

Our Wednesday Construction Crew (affectionately known as the Wednesday Coffee Club) are the heart and hands behind every set you see on stage. With three or more productions each year—and many set pieces hired out to schools and community groups—there’s always something being built, fixed, painted or cleverly engineered. This dedicated group meets every Wednesday (and most Saturday mornings) to make it all happen.

If you have some time on your hands and enjoy working with tools, learning new skills, or simply sharing a cuppa and a good chat while getting something meaningful done, we’d love to hear from you. Whether you’re an experienced builder or just building-curious, you’ll be welcomed, taught, and genuinely valued.

But it’s not just about timber and screws. Along the way, strong friendships are formed, skills grow from show to show, and Wednesday mornings become something to look forward to—a place to belong, contribute, and be part of the magic of live theatre that brings us together through shared experience and human connection.
